 Everardo has more than 30 years expertise as a Private Equity and Venture Capital investor, entrepreneur, director, product manager, design engineer, researcher, and inventor in medical diagnostics, wireless networks and devices, high-speed networking & supercomputing, 3D Printing, UAV/UAS vehicles, semiconductor, and biotechnology. Everardo has co-chaired innovation, entrepreneurship, and intellectual property programs for United States senators and congressman. Dr. Ruiz is also a NASA Fellow. Everardo received an MS in Management and Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School and School of Engineering, a Ph.D. and MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of California Davis. 

Everardo is a practiced speaker on intellectual property and value generation and has taught on entrepreneurship at U of Washington and M.I.T. Everardo has also been named as one of Intellectual Asset Magazine’s “Leading IP Strategists” annually since 2014.
