Paul has 15 years of experiences working as IP sell/buy agent as well as engaging in litigation support eDiscovery business, focusing on the market between US and Taiwan. As an IP sell/buy agent, Paul has worked with Intellectual Ventures, Foxconn, Miics, Apipa, ITRI, Hsinghua University, and many other high-tech companies. Paul was in charge of eDiscovery business in Taiwan for UBiC for 2 years, working with US law firms and managing the process of data collection and production. This enables Paul to explore the potential of IP monetization through enforcement opportunities.
Paul has a MS degree from UC Berkeley EECS and has worked for two successful IPO startups, Weitek and Platform Technologies, in Silicon Valley. He co-founded Glad System and Striden Networks, and later, started his own OEM contractor business leading a team to design the 1st generation Dual mode (802.11b + 2G) phone for Docomo Japan.
Paul has also worked for Rydex, C.Lu Lab, Plexus Computer, Sun Microsystems, SuperMac, Optoplex, Skipper wireless, and VLI. His engineering knowledge includes from Semiconductor, Hardware/Software, Graphics/Image processing, to Fiber optics, Wifi/Mobile telecommunications.
